How homeowners could strengthen their chances of getting 3 homeowners (majority) on a 5 person board:
  • If they collectively concentrated all their voting power on the same 3 candidates.
How the homeowners could possibly achieve a minority rule on the board:
  • If they all collectively diluted their votes across 10 different candidates.
  • Chances are if a developer owning the largest share of units strategically used his/her majority of votes across three candidates, the three candidates of his/her choice could have a good chance at winning 3 board seats (majority).
